Transportation to the beginning of the course: Kösedere is located at a 94 km distance to Konak. In order to reach it with a private vehicle, you should turn at the Karaburun intersection from the İzmir – Çeşme highway. Follow the İzmir – Çeşme land route from the Çeşme direction. Turn right in the Gülbahçe direction from the İzmir Institute of Technology intersection. Follow the Balıklıova – Mordoğan direction from the next intersection after that. After Mordoğan, you should enter the Eğlenhoca road and can reach Kösedere by passing through the village.
If you use public transportation, you should first come to the Fahrettin Altay station (Üçkuyular) by metro. From the transfer station here, you should take the municipal bus numbered 725 to go to Urla. From there you can go to the district center with the Urla – Karaburun bus numbered 761. You can also reach the district directly by the Karaburun buses from the city garage in Üçkuyular. You can reach Kösedere village with the minibuses from Mordoğan or Karaburun or you can come with your private vehicle from Eğlenhoca.
Structure of the course: The course consists of inner village roads, olive groves, pathways (ground is slippery on rainy days), dirt roads, stabilized roads and shrubs.
Details of the course: The course starts from the Kösedere village center. After almost 500 m, you enter the tractor road after following the asphalt village road. By following the dirt road through the olive groves and shrubs, you can reach the asphalt village road after almost 1500 m. After walking 200 m to the north, the road turns east at the end of the bend on the left. From there, you should continue walking through the tractor road that goes north. After walking for 3.8 km through the olive groves and shrubs, you can reach the Karaburun – İzmir state road. You should walk north and after 200 m, you enter the pathway. There is a slope on the left and there is a pathway with a beautiful sea view on the right. You should pass the pathway carefully in rainy days because the road can be slippery. From the dirt road, you should continue walking until the coffee house situated in Ambarseki village. After Ambarseki, you can reach Saip village through the inner village roads and the stabilized road. After that, you can reach the end of the course from the old pathway that goes to the center of Karaburun.

Camping Sites: You need to talk to the mukhtar (village headman) in order to set up camp in Kösedere, Ambarseki and Saip villages.
Shopping and Accommodation: There are coffee houses and a grocery in Kösedere, Ambarseki and Saip villages. You can have breakfast in Saip coffee house with home made products like vegetables, jams etc. Kaynarpınar, which is situated on the coast, is not within the course but there are guesthouses there. There are also many guesthouses, hotels, restaurants and coffee houses in the center of Karaburun district and in the coves. Bazaars are set up on Wednesdays. There are also bank branches, a taxi stand, a post office and a bus terminal (you can go to villages from İzmir with the buses). There are also cruises between the months of June and September from the Karaburun pier to Foça.
Natural and historical values: The course is suitable for trekking between the months of September and June. It is covered with the vegetation of the Aegean region. It is also rich in terms of olive groves and wild flowers. Narcissus is produced between the months of November and January, hyacinth is produced between the months of February and March, and olive oil is produced between the months of November and January.
