The course begins in front of the south gate of the ancient city of Ephesus. If you choose public transportation, there are three options. About 500 m further from the junction point; you descend to the valley on the right and enter a new forest road parallel to the slope and continue to the right. Turning right to the east from the first junction following the forest road, you end up at the shoulder south of the outer fortification walls of Ephesus. Descending east to the valley from the shoulder, you arrive at the point where the walls and the Ephesus – Virgin Mary asphalt intersect. Heading north on the asphalt road, you arrive at the south gate of Ephesus. The total distance of this road, which runs through the forest, is 7 km.
