Transportation to the beginning of the course: By a vehicle departing from Konak, you need to arrive at Güzelbahçe through the coastal road. From the Seferihisar-Güzelbahçe fork, you need to turn in the direction of Seferihisar. Or you may prefer to take the highway and turn to Seferihisar and reach the district center.
If you would like to use public transportation, you should first go to the Fahrettin Altay transfer center at Üçkuyular by bus, subway or ferry. From the Üçkuyular district bus terminal, you can take the ESHOT bus no 730 to go to Seferihisar district center. Both ways, you can go from the district center to the Kavakdere course’s beginning point by a private vehicle.
Structure of the course: The first 5.7 km of the course continues on an asphalt village road. Afterwards, almost 90% of the course follows terrain roads through olive groves, tractor roads and quite apparent paths. You can walk on this course in any season. The course always ascends. If it is to be followed in the opposite direction, it will be less weary.
Details of the course: Kavakdere village is too dispersed. There is no village square. You should begin to walk from the coordinates of 38°09'29.39”N 26°53'33.77”E at which the number of houses is the highest. You need to follow the asphalt road going to Beyler village towards north. Under the Kavakdere Dam’s body, you should cross a bridge over the brook and continue with the asphalt road. The asphalt road passes over the body of the pond and follows the left seaside of the Kavakdere Dam and arrives at the end of the Dam Lake, at the stream bed. The course crosses the stream through a bridge and immediately goes into the path at the opposite slope, leaving the asphalt road. As the apparent path following the line of the shoulder through the olive groves ascends, it turns into a tractor road. Right before arriving at Beyler village, the course goes up again to the asphalt Kavakdere-Beyler village road and after going for about 700 meters, it reaches the village center. You can have a break and tea at the coffee house in Beyler; an old village settlement.
After Beyler, the course goes torwards a terrain road on the north. It crosses the stream at the north of the settlement and ascends parallel to the west slope of the shoulder and ascends in a way that the only building at the end of the shoulder will stay on the right. It goes in the opposite direction of the slope of the shoulder and comes to a crossroad. From here, it continues towards northeast and into the basin. From the end of the basin, it escalates on the west, to the shoulder. On the shoulder, there is a crossroad where three roads meet. You should go into the road on the southwest, go ahead for 100 meters on the shoulder and then go into the path on the right and go down to the valley from northwest. The valley is one of the streams feeding the Beyler Dam. In rainy periods, crossing over the stream must be planned beforehand.
The route passes by the stream and continues with a path escalating towards north. The path ascends through the olive gloves parallel to the east slope of the shoulder which lies between northeast and southwest. Before reaching the line of the shoulder, it turns to the tractor road again. The road ascends in a way that there will be a wooded area on the left and arrives at the Seferihisar-Beyler asphalt village road at the point where there is only one building, at the end of the hill, on the left. You need to walk 1200 meters on the asphalt road and reach the endpoint; Gödence village center. You can have a break and have a joyful time in the Gödence, well known with its square, coffee houses, olive oils, workshops and cooperative works.

Concerning accommodation, in Gödence village, the trainings of the board housing business have been completed. After the entrepreneurship trainings, the goal is to start board housing. You can stay at the hotels and guesthouses in Seferihisar and Sığacık.
