Transportation to the beginning of the course: By a private vehicle, take the Urla exit on the İzmir - Çeşme highway toarrive to the center. For public transportation vehicles, go to the Fahrettin Altay transfer center either by metro or municipal buses. From here, arrive to Urla center by taking the bus numbered 725. Also, there is a regular minibus service from the Fahrettin Altay bus terminal to Urla Çeşmealtı.
Details of the course: Urla center is extremely rich with its historical values, olive oil ateliers and ancient olive trees. There are seven abandoned ateliers and three continuous system oil olive factories that are in service in the Urla region. On the other hand, the olive oil, flour (plant) and wine (distillery) factory located in the Urla center is a registered structure as a holdover from Greek inhabitants. This factory is located on a 16 hectare land and it is said that the factory works with an oil engine and 100 carts of stone were used in the construction.
Also, the Kütük Minaret Mosque, as well as the historic fountain across the mosque, which was built in the 15th Century are worth seeing. Another historical asset is the fountain which was built in 1083 located on the corner of Bellek Street. Other sights are the Fatih İbrahim Bey Mosque in İbrahim Alga Street and the Hacı Turan Kapan Mosque, which both remain from the 16th Century. Once you enter Kapan Mosque Street, you will run into a primary school. You can also visit the Herekezade Ahmed Paşa Turkish bath on Mustafakemalpaşa Street.
